The first time I

considered pills was

when your name

                         stabbed me

I just wanted something to kill the pain
Make me numb

  to your summons

I wanted to burn my fingertips in your ashes


You were a symphony that I
could never hear


A poem
    that I could not write

A death sentence in a world of
    resurrection

  Your hands told the stories of
                                     a thousand years
But your eyes
                   erased
                             all existence of the present

You ignited the world with a flame of finality


And branded my skin

With your Mark


                  Of Shame
